MDDR-Database

MDDR stands for ‘MDL Drug Data Report’ and contains biologically active compounds – at the moment 220.000,00 compounds are listed.

The Client Isentris 3.2 provides applications like a drawing programm (Symyx Draw) for listed compounds and supports researchers in accessing, processing and managing their own discovery data within MDDR.
The user is invited to create advanced chemical queries for various types of search, e.g. chemical name or synonyms (generic substances), CAS registry number, ClogP (computed partition coefficient), mol. weight, SMILES, the patent-situation and corresponding literature. One can also get very quickly the developmental stage of a substance, also concerning the clinical development, the producing company or the direct patent situation. The user can search for related chemical structures or sub-structures and their corresponding properties and export them via Client (Isentris) and an associated  Excel - programm.

The Installation of Oracle 11g - Database (Oracle Corp.), the Build-up or later Tuning of the MDDR-Database and the general Interaction with the Client - Programm Isentris 3.2 was performed by Dr. Adriane Menßen.

The MDDR product and the Isentris 3.2 Programm are already under license from Accelrys, Inc., USA. The Oracle 11g - MDDR Database and the Client Isentris 3.2 are licensed parts of this system and can only be used by FMP scientists.
